Your Suffolk Police Department along with Zoe Ministries walked the areas of Wilson Street and Wellons Street. City officials Mayor Duman, Vice Mayor Bennett, Councilman Ward, Councilman Williams, the Interim Police Chief and members of the Suffolk Sheriff’s Office walked the streets with Pastor Simmons and Reverend Hanna, talking with citizens to assess the community’s feelings about crime, safety, and opportunities. Zoe Ministries has pledged their support to areas of our city battling crime. We look forward to making this an ongoing effort to connect with our Suffolk residents. We also feel that maintaining an open line of communication with our community will help build a level of trust between the citizens and the city administrations both current and future.
Thank you to our City leaders and fellow public servants for joining us in our mission to build a brighter future for Suffolk!
